Jehovah God’s Qualities are clearly seen in Creation
What can we learn from God’s creation? We can get to know Jehovah God, our creator. What can we learn from Creation about Jehovah God?
God’s qualities are clearly seen in Creation (Romans 1:20)
In the Bible we can read: “(Romans 1:20) For his invisible qualities are clearly seen from the world’s creation onward, because they are perceived by the things made, even his eternal power and Godship, so that they are inexcusable.”
What did Jehovah create?
In the Bible we can read: “(Isaiah 40:26) “Lift up your eyes to heaven and see. Who has created these things? It is the One who brings out their army by number; He calls them all by name. Because of his vast dynamic energy and his awe-inspiring power, Not one of them is missing.”And in the Bible book of Proverbs: “(Proverbs 3:19-21) Jehovah founded the earth in wisdom. He solidly established the heavens in discernment. 20 By his knowledge the watery deeps were split apart And the cloudy skies dripped with dew. 21 My son, do not lose sight of them. Safeguard practical wisdom and thinking ability;”
What did you learn from this Bible Scripture?
Jehovah God created the heaven and the earth through his power. To learn details from creation can draw us closer to God. This will be good for us. We can read in the Bible: “(James 4:8) Draw close to God, and he will draw close to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you indecisive ones.”
Jesus Christ used creation to teach his disciples
For example Jesus asked his disciples to observe the ravens: “(Luke 12:24) Consider the ravens: They neither sow seed nor reap; they have neither barn nor storehouse; yet God feeds them. Are you not worth much more than birds?”
And the lilies: “(Luke 12:27-30) Consider how the lilies grow: They neither toil nor spin; but I tell you that not even Solʹo·mon in all his glory was arrayed as one of these. 28 Now if this is how God clothes the vegetation in the field that today exists and tomorrow is cast into an oven, how much more will he clothe you, you with little faith! 29 So stop seeking what you will eat and what you will drink, and stop being in anxious suspense; 30 for all these are the things the nations of the world are eagerly pursuing, but your Father knows you need these things.”
If you see Jehovahs creation you can ask yourself or somebody else:
“What do you learn from this about Jehovah?”
In all the creation we can learn about Jehovah’s wisdom: “(Psalm 104:24) How many your works are, O Jehovah! You have made all of them in wisdom. The earth is full of what you have made.”
In the Bible book of Romans we can read: “(Romans 11:33) O the depth of God’s riches and wisdom and knowledge! How unsearchable his judgments are and beyond tracing out his ways are!”
Just think about how water forms clouds. And clouds can float effortlessly from one place to another: “(Job 38:36, 37) Who put wisdom within the clouds Or gave understanding to the sky phenomenon? 37 Who is wise enough to count the clouds, Or who can tip over the water jars of heaven”
And just think about our human body. How wonderfully we are made. What we can learn from this about Jehovah: “ (Psalm 139:14) I praise you because in an awe-inspiring way I am wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful, I know this very well.”
And if we see the heavens, we can learn much about the amazing power of God: “(Isaiah 40:26) “Lift up your eyes to heaven and see. Who has created these things? We can learn from creation, that Jehovah God is a happy God
The creation reveals the joy and the sense of humor of Jehovah God. For example scientists observed, that most animals play. Including fish and birds. Read in the Bible: “ (Job 40:20) For the mountains produce food for it, Where all the wild animals play.”
Everything in the creation teaches us, that Jehovah is a happy creator: “(1 Timothy 1:11) according to the glorious good news of the happy God, with which I was entrusted.”
And Jehovah wants us to be Happy too
In Jehovah’s creation we can relax and have fun. And this is what Jehovah wants for us. We can read in the Bible: “(Ecclesiastes 3:4) A time to weep and a time to laugh; A time to wail and a time to dance;”.
In the future the creation will even become much more beautiful
We can learn in the Bible about the future, that we can enjoy Jehovahs creation as never before. Nobody need to fear animals. And animals do not fear us: “(Isaiah 11:6-9) The wolf will reside for a while with the lamb, And with the young goat the leopard will lie down, And the calf and the lion and the fattened animal will all be together; And a little boy will lead them. 7 The cow and the bear will feed together, And their young will lie down together. The lion will eat straw like the bull. 8 The nursing child will play over the lair of a cobra, And a weaned child will put his hand over the den of a poisonous snake. 9 They will not cause any harm Or any ruin in all my holy mountain, Because the earth will certainly be filled with the knowledge of Jehovah As the waters cover the sea.”
And we will have endless time to enjoy the creation of Jehovah God: “(Psalm 22:26) The meek will eat and be satisfied; Those seeking Jehovah will praise him. May you enjoy life forever.”
Creation teaches us about Jehovah, how amazing he is
Nobody is like Jehovah. In the creation we can learn about Jehovah God, that he is supremely intelligent, strong, artistic and caring. We can see Jehovah’s Love, Power, Wisdom, Humor.
About God we can read in the Bible: “(Psalm 86:8) There is none like you among the gods, O Jehovah, There are no works like yours.”
How else can we get to know Jehovah?
But learning about creation is just one way to get to know Jehovah. The most important way to learn about Jehovah is to study his word the Bible: “(2 Timothy 3:14-17) You, however, continue in the things that you learned and were persuaded to believe, knowing from whom you learned them 15 and that from infancy you have known the holy writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. 16 All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness, 17 so that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work.“
